Offshore Oil Safety Awards Luncheon Postponed... You Don't Say!!!
Coast Guard Admiral: "...do the job to secure and remove this oil." How is that securing going? "... protect these fragile areas." Say what?
BP says that that super-duty, ultra mobile, undersea exploded-well capping machine didn't function quite the way it had been designed to function ... well, I guess not. But, you can't guarantee EVERYTHING, now, can you?
Obama, on April 2: "It turns out ... that oil rigs today generally don't cause spills. They are technologically very advanced.''

Afternoon: Horror on the other hand - 5 miles from here is the latest coal mine disaster, killing two young men. One of Pam's students was crying in class - knows one of the miners killed. Numerous safety violations were assessed at that mine within the last year.
