Tea Party ignoramuses; CBS/NYT poll

Just one in five say the president shares the values of most Americans. Query: What, exactly, are "the values of most Americans"? Who can discern what are those values?

An overwhelming majority of Tea Party supporters, 84 percent, say the views of the Tea Party movement reflect the views of most Americans. But Americans overall disagree: Just 25 percent say the Tea Party movement reflects their beliefs, while 36 percent say it does not. Query: How can that many people be that far out of touch?
